Kia Ora, today is Gumboot Friday. TWP 8, TWP 4 and TWP 6 were partnered up with each other. My partner was Vanisa. We have learnt 2 of the 5 ways to connect. It is to take notice, and connect. Surprisingly, New Zealand has a high rate of youth suicide. Sadly. Gumboot Friday is a fundraiser for children under the age of 25 to speak about their mental health. When Mike King suffered from mental illness, he decided to start a fundraiser for Gumboot Friday. Here is our activity!
Today in Cybersmart, we went on to google earth and search up Auckland landmarks. My favourite landmark is Rainbows End because, I have a lot of fun going on the rides there. I really hope you like my blog and my landmark. I hope you have a good day and here is a picture.

Today for Cybersmart, Ms. Tolland came and introduced us to a new app. This app is called ‘Google My Maps’. We have been learning about cities/locations in New Zealand. Today for Inquiry, Te Wairua Pakiki (TWP, my class) read a story about biking. This story is teaching you some basics about biking. It is really important to know what you are doing on a bike.
